My family had plans to move from Brazil to the USA, and were looking for an alternative to help our kids (12 and 10 years old now) adapt to the changes to come (language and learning methods). A friend whose daughter studies at Laurel Springs and had nothing but high raves for it, recommended to us. Since the school was 100% online, it was perfect for us as our moving date was uncertain at the time. The hole experience was amazing, the school, study materials and self self pacing method were wonderful and our kids loved! The school offers clubs and other online events that the kids enjoyed and a lot of useful too!s. I would like to mention the most important point of our entire experience at Laurel Springs, the teachers, all the ones who worked with our daughter in 6th grade were amazing. Last but not least, Mrs. Perez-Burney has a place in our family's heart for all the work and support to my 4th grader, who without a doubt went the distance thanks to her.

Our first year at Laurel Springs School was an incredibly positive experience. Laurel Springs combines a rigorous and engaging curriculum with the flexibility and freedom for students to move at their own pace. The faculty and staff are supportive and really build relationships with families to ensure student success. The school provides extensive opportunities to connect and create a community virtually. There are virtual clubs, field trips, spirit weeks, and many celebrations to bring everyone together. In our daughter's fourth-grade year, she excelled in the asynchronous environment. She was able to move ahead in subjects that were easier and sought out extra help when needed from her teacher, Mrs. Perez-Burney, when other subjects were challenging. Mrs. Perez-Burney has a real gift for connecting with students in the virtual environment and her enthusiasm for teaching shines through the screen. Her positive encouragement and support were invaluable to our daughter's success. She gave detailed feedback on all assignments and took extra time to explain concepts if she was having trouble understanding a lesson. Her open communication with our family was a huge help in navigating the new-to-us learning environment. While the pacing of the assignments takes some getting used to after being a part of a traditional, brick-and-mortar school, Laurel Springs provides ample guidance to ensure families can support their students in the best way to stay on track. Our daughter enjoyed learning with Laurel Springs, and was excited about the assignments and projects she completed. I would highly recommend Laurel Springs School!

Laurel Springs is outstanding!! The Administrators, Counselors, and Teachers are all friendly and genuinely eager to help. I love how the Administration is very hands-on with families, always looking for feedback and ways to improve the school. We chose Laurel Springs because my gifted son, with Ivy League ambitions, was not being challenged in public or charter schools, yet we couldn't afford the tuition of the local private schools. Laurel Springs Academy has exceeded expectations in providing my son a curriculum that is the perfect level of challenge for him. They also offer a lot of support for AP exams, dual enrollment courses, and ACT/SAT prep.

This is my fourth year at Laurel Springs and I find it to be a great private online school. The teachers are so accommodating, the courses, clubs, electives, and other activities are endless and give students a wide variety to choose from. I have always gotten very detailed feedback on all of my assignments, and I find the AP courses especially to be extremely helpful when preparing for the AP exams in May. I took AP World History last year and loved my teacher, she went really in-depth on her feedback and really helped me improve my essays, and I found the course to be great prep for the exam. I actually ended up requesting both my History and English teachers again for this year, where I am now taking AP US History and AP Lang because I found them to be so helpful with last year's coursework. This year, I am taking once-a-week workshops for my AP classes where we meet online with other students in the class and discuss the coursework and how to prepare for the exams with each other and our teacher. This is like an "extra" one-hour class to really dive deeper into the course material and things we all can work on to improve for the exams. Overall, I find Laurel Springs to have everything for every student, and the teachers are so helpful in guiding you along the path you want to take.

The quality is extremely good and detailed. All 5 of my daughter's teachers are amazing. They give good feedback with additional ways to study a subject that is a challenge. They are quick to respond and make me feel part of a team. I was nervous as I would never be the traditional homeschool or online school parent. The team of teachers, student counselor, and staff all support you to help each of my children. They have so many opportunities from virtual field trips to in-person field trips. They do NJHS we hope to attend in person and meet these amazing teams helping our family. It is fully accredited so if your child likes sports they will be able to play in college. My daughters are doing ballet, but we will be moving to tennis this year. I am highly recommending the school to any parent. We are going to do the gifted and talented program for all three once they reach the grade requirement. I like the chance to let my children advance at their own pace and move forward and ahead if they are ready. The AP classes they will take once they are able is a huge plus.
