My daughter came from a much smaller environment and I was worried about her transition to Lake Mary Prep. The class sizes are small though the school is much bigger. She still gets the individual attention that she is used to and the support from all her teachers but she now has so many more interests... golf, violin, watercolors, Spanish, etc. She has made many more friends that are down-to-earth and understand her better. We have found that this school is a safe place for her to be herself!

Our son joined LMP last year, in the 2nd grade. We came from another school, from abroad and I was worried about his accommodation to a new school, in a new country, making new friends. On the day of registration, we went to school with great emotions, doubts, I had a lot of questions to ask. Instead, we went home with the certainty that LPM would be the perfect school for our child. Absolutely the entire school staff, were extremely close to us and especially understood the needs of the child, made him feel at home, was welcomed with warmth and understanding. LPM has a great academic program. It is amazing how much he has learned this year, how much he has grown and how wonderfully happy and excited he is to attend school. We are so happy that our son has found a place where he can learn, be challenged and feel safe and loved. The size of the school is perfect. Everyone knows each other no matter what grade you are in. It is a familiar atmosphere, a great environment for kids to grow in. It is really true what they say "LMP it`s a family!"The school`s unique approach to learning engages students in their own development and encourages them to take ownership of their decisions and actions, they are taught to think "out of the box".Extracurricular activities & clubs, sports, and field trips are not missing from the curriculum. Just in one year, our children demonstrated what a great foundation they have. The teachers are excellent, focusing strongly on writing and critical thinking rather than simple memorization and faculty members are very available to provide extra help if needed. We are very happy that we choose Lake Mary Prep!

My son is in his first year at Lake Mary Prep and we are incredibly happy. He attended a highly accelerated preschool program elsewhere and LMP has continued to stimulate him with their wonderful academic program. It is absolutely incredible how much he has learned this year, how much he has grown and how wonderfully happy and excited he is to attend school each day. The administration and teachers are incredible and inspiring to my child. I am thrilled that my shy young son has found a place where he can thrive, learn, be challenged and feel safe and loved.
