Lake Fern Montessori Academy is a private preschool, kindergarten and lower elementary school for children ages two and one half through sixth grade.
The primary focus of Lake Fern Montessori Academy is to provide a quality educational environment in which the child can experience developmental excellence.
LFMA has attempted to limit the "grade level" syndrome. The Academy is made up of multi-level classrooms, whose scholastics overlap somewhat to allow placement of each student according to ability rather than chronological age.
Each environment is designed to challenge the student to his or her fullest potential, by allowing the child to excel beyond "grade level" in her area of interest while giving the child the materials necessary to progress steadily in other areas.

My child was struggling with reading after COVID, as well as struggling to keep up with the rigorous curriculum of the Christian school she was attending. At Lake Fern, they made it their mission to get her caught up, pulled her for extra help, and always made her feel successful. She felt very defeated at her last school. At Lake Fern, she feels good about school.

My kids came to this school after many years of struggling and falling behind in public school. This school has been absolutely amazing, my children are doing better than they ever have and they love learning now. My daughter who has always been very shy has come a long way since she started this school too, she has become much more social now with adults and children. My son had struggled every year in public school, couldn't focus, falling behind more and more and now he is getting all A's and B's independently. He does not have any of the issues he had in public. Every single teacher here is amazing, they are all so kind and caring. The whole school is a very personal experience which is great. This is an outstanding school I highly recommend it. I don't know what I'd have done without it!!
