Lake Country Christian School is an amazing school that provides a rigorous and creative curriculum for all students. They are given many different styles of hands on learning including science lab and the wonderful new science, technology, engineering and math lab. The also value the arts and physical education from Pre-K through grade 12. The class sizes are small enough that students get lots of individual attention. The teachers are always willing to expand the curriculum to fit the learning styles and pace of the students. However, the most important aspect of the school is the Christian eduction that they receive as the core of all the teaching. They are able to learn about God`s love and how He shines through every aspect of learning from science to math to music.

I have been associated with LCCS for 25 years as a parent, grandmother, aunt, and teacher. The academic programs are rigorous and are continuously changing to be the best for each student. The fine arts program that begins and grows in PreK produces excellent work in both music and art. It has been amazing to watch the growth of the sports program over the years to include so many areas of competition. I have seen students excel in areas because there is room for them to do so in small groups and they are encouraged to compete in as many extracurricular activities as possible, as long as they are able to keep up the academics. Our students learn to punt (not football), which helps them prepare for all of life. Jesus is in every class and is amazingly incorporated into every subject matter. The faculty and staff are glad to be here each day - we love life with these precious students. They go on to do magnificent things with their lives and we are so proud of them. Need to know more? Call 817-236-8703 and ask for Mary Whitbeck. I would happily do another 25 years!
