After touring a variety of elementary schools HCS by far blew it out of the water. Without a doubt, my husband and I knew this is where we wanted all of our kids to attend. The program they run is phenomenal. My kids love school, they wish they could stay longer. The teachers and staff are so loving and caring towards all of the students. Mrs. Forsberg loves her students as her own. She is an amazing teacher and my kids love her so much. Each week they come home with a huge packet of work they've done each week and it is very impressive how much work they do and how quickly they are learning.

I feel compelled to write a review to share our experience at Huntington Christian School. We have a Kindergarten & a 3rd grader at Huntington Christian School this year. We feel so blessed and proud that our children attend HCS. HCS really has a "whole child" approach & really seeks to meet the needs of all their students. Our kindergarten absolutely loves school & the kindergarten program is top-notch! Our daughter loves going to school & wishes she could go to school ,even on the weekends. . She has made so many new friends & her teacher Mrs. Spect is the best kindergarten teacher ever! The way she gets them reading so quickly just blows my mind. HCS has a fabulous phonics program & really gets the children reading quickly. The children all absolutely adore her because they know how much she loves them & she makes learning fun. Our 3rd grader went to SSJ for kindergarten and they unfortunately don`t have a phonics program which put him at a disadvantage when transferring over in 2nd grade. Thankfully, he is academically very strong and with the helping hand of Ms. Shinrock he was able to quickly pick up the phonics very quickly. Our son is having the same experience as our daughter, he's had wonderful, loving and caring teachers. HCS really works on the whole child spiritually, academically, socially & emotionally. HCS is truly a gift to any child it serves. The families are all also so wonderful and inclusive. Feels great to be at a school with like-minded parents who put their children first. Everything at HCS is done with love! We only wish that both of our children started school from the very beginning at Huntington Christian School.
