For 44 years, it has provided excellence in academics, arts, athletics, and extracurricular activities, all built on the foundation of Christ-centered faith and community.

Our Mission:Horizon Christian School exists to glorify

and we strive to help them use their gifts to positively impact
those around them.
Our school is a college preparatory academic institution built
on a strong foundation of faith where every student will be
equipped for higher education andgain the skills necessary
for success beyond high school. Our goal is to prepare every
student for their academic and personal development. Over 90% of
our graduates attend college after high school, while others do
ministry, military, and trades.
Whether in the classroom, on athletic fields, onstage, or in
our extracurricular activities, we are committed to creating
environments of spiritual growth and academic rigor. Our privilege
is to offer our community academically strong, faith-based
educational programs to PreK through 12th grade and International
students 7th through 12th grade.
Our high school has been accredited with Cognia since 2006. Our
average GPA is 3.70, with a student-to-staff ratio of
10:1.

A Life-Changing Experience at Horizon Christian School!I have been with Horizon Christian School since 2006 as an employee and parent of two graduates (2010 and 2012). Horizon Christian profoundly influenced their lives, shaping their academic growth, character development, and relationships within a vibrant, Christ-centered community. They expanded their interests and involvement in school more than we would have ever thought they would due to how safe and supportive the school community was. Students are challenged academically to excel at their highest level, with many advanced and dual credit courses. As an employee, it's been a blessing to work for a school that values each student and adult and prioritizes our strong Christian faith-based mission, calling, and vision. Each year, we improve by adding academic programs, expanding extracurricular activities, increasing our sports offerings, and recruiting dedicated teachers, coaches, and staff. This growth ensures that every student has the tools to thrive in a supportive, faith-driven environment.I am grateful for Horizon Christian's lasting impact on my family and for the opportunity to be part of such an amazing community.

The teachers and staff at Horizon Christian truly care, fueling not only brainpower but also confidence and character in our kids. Their grades and attitudes reflect the positive nurturing attention they receive each day. We came from a larger public school environment and had reservations about a small school. Those reservations have been replaced with a desire to be our best and contribute to this amazing team of spiritually gifted individuals. We love it at Horizon
