School Notes
- Hathaway Brown`s Learn for Life Signature Approach inspires girls to take ownership of their education, rise boldly to the challenges of the times, and achieve their utmost potential. This model, facilitated by an incredibly impressive and engaged faculty, sets girls on the path to achieve their goals and become the best versions of themselves. There are four key values in our Learn for Life approach:
- Empowered Girls- In 1876, five girls courageously challenged the status quo when they marched up the steps of an all-boys school and petitioned the headmaster to enroll them as well. Ever since, HB girls have been defying expectations, shattering glass ceilings, blazing their own trails and becoming the best people they can be.

- Knowledge in Action- HB gives students the tools they need to succeed in the world beyond our walls. In every division, students are immersed in opportunities that apply concepts learned in the classroom to the real world - uniting learning by thinking with learning by doing.
- Celebrated Community- HB is a family. Our parent community is engaged, supportive and active. Our community of educators is caring and nurturing. I thank HB for the confidence, courage, and determination that I possess as a young woman today. As I embark on my journey to college this fall, I say with the utmost confidence that I am more than prepared because of the education I received at this school. Its students have inspired me and its faculty and staff have pushed me to excellence. I'm grateful to have this place to call my second home. It is because of the same sex, private education that I received that I am not afraid to speak my voice loud and clear in the world. I wouldn't have wanted to attend any other private institution because I believe there is no place like HB.

The school is good with recognizing students with special needs or who need academic help, lots of clubs, friendly people, plenty of advanced classes, nice teachers ( mostly ), tons of award.
