My daughter is half way thru her first year at GCS and we could not be happier!!! It is such a kind and caring, wonderful environment for a child's first experience with school. The community that has been created at this school with the teachers, staff and other families is unmatched. It is so comforting to know my daughter is getting a well-rounded education as well as emotional support!

This is our daughter's first year at GCS. She loves it!! She looks forward going to school every day, even on the days she doesn't go. The staff is fantastic, very caring, and they take pride in what they do. GCS is a perfect first school learning experience.

Our daughter attended Groton Community School starting with My Grownup and Me and then in the preschool program for 2 years, and LOVED it! The teachers and staff are unlike any other school we had found. They are caring, empathetic, so knowledgeable, and really help develop our kids on every level, not just academically. Now my son is attending, after going through My Grownup and Me as well. He is in his 2nd year of preschool. The curriculum is play-based and so comprehensive. There aren't many accredited preschools around that I know of, and you really can tell the difference in the quality of the programs. Great outdoor playscape too. Both of our kids absolutely loved GCS and truly flourished there. We will miss it so much when our son moves onto public school!

We moved to Groton five years ago. The best decision my wife and I ever made was sending our daughter to GCS. The staff is fantastic. The environment at GCS is perfect for my daughter. Moving to a new town GCS has helped my family feel welcome in the Groton Community. My daughter looks forward to going to school everyday because she is having fun learning.

This is our son's 4th year at GCS and it has become like a second home for him. From the toddler program, to preschool, PreK and now Kindergarten we couldn't be happier with the education he has received. We know confidentially that he will be well prepared for 1st grade next year academically and socially. The nurturing environment provided by the teachers and staff, make it easy to drop him off and know that he is well taken care of. Each day he shares a new topic with us and is excited to learn what's next. Some days I'm not sure how we even convince him to come home. He has also participated in and loved Camp Kaleidoscope each summer.

We absolutely love GCS! They are nurturing, fun and have become our home away from home! You can`t beat the curriculum and teachers. Our son completed his preschool years there, or daughter is currently there and our third child will attend soon. Our only wish was that GCS went up through all of elementary school!!

We love GCS! The staff is so warm and accommodating and our children learned so much, but they got to have fun and be kids too! The teachers take great care in attending to every child`s individual needs. Highly recommend!

GCS was the best decision for our children. They were excited to go to school everyday and the staff was warm, welcoming, knowledgable and skilled in providing interesting, relevant and unique lessons, activities and play opportunities. As a parent, I knew they were well taken care of, loved and happy each and every day. I highly recommend GCS for any preschool, pre-K or K child.

Groton Community School has exceeded all my expectations. My son (4 years old) was ecstatic to attend the toddler program last year and is thriving in the preschool program this year. I am repeatedly amazed when he comes home to share not just the facts he has learned but the concepts of caring for each other, being kind and being a good friend. We look forward to 2 more years of school and summer camp!

I can not say enough about Groton Community School!! When looking into preschools for my son, my search abruptly stopped as soon as I walked into GCS. The teachers and staff have created such a warm and welcoming environment that it didn't even compare to other schools. My son absolutely loves going each school day and my husband and I love knowing he is at such a wonderful place where he can play, learn and build such a positive foundation for all his schooling ahead! I highly recommend Groton Community School!

Groton Community School has surpassed our expectations! Our children have attended the Camp Kaleidoscope summer program in addition to the school year programs. The environment is nurturing and educational; the staff is focused on the well being and growth of every child who walks in the door. I walk away knowing my children are in very loving hands that I can trust unconditionally. My third little one will be attending the toddler program when he's old enough to gain exposure to all GSC has to offer for his preschool/pre-K needs! Check out the school website for more information and pictures of the building and grounds (the outdoor space/playground is awesome!).

We have been so happy at Groton Community School for the past 4 years. Both my kids love going every morning and sometimes are a little sad on Saturdays when it is a non school day. The teachers are wonderful and engaging. Such a fantastic environment for little ones.
