School Notes
- The admissions process begins when a student is referred by their local education agency (LEA) in an effort to provide a free and appropriate public education. The student must have an educational disability of Autism or Emotional Disturbance to qualify for admissions; he/she may have other disabilities as well such as Specific Learning Disability, Speech or Language Impairment, and OHI (Other Health Impairment). The referral will consist of the student's current school Evaluation Report and Individualized Education Program (IEP). The referral can only be submitted by the LEA that is accepting financial responsibility for the student's placement.
