School Notes
- At KinderCare of Greatwood you will find that our commitment to high quality care and education shows in everything we do. Our experts designed our classrooms — and every activity and lesson — to help prepare your child for success in school and beyond. You will find that our classrooms feature a print-rich environment full of carefully selected materials, written charts and labels and children’s literature. By helping your child connect spoken words and print, we’re helping develop early literacy and writing skills. Your child will receive the personal support and attention that is necessary to build trust and confidence. We know that selecting preschool, infant care or before and after school age care can be a challenge for concerned parents, and rightly so. The first years of life are critical to your child's long-term development, making your choice of an early childhood learning center one of the most vital decisions you will ever make as a parent. Whether your child has first words or first grade on the horizon, we’re excited to show you how everything in our center is designed for learning!
- Our first priority at our Greatwood KinderCare is the safety of the children in our care. In order to ensure the safety of our children and teachers we have a secure keypad entry. Upon enrollment our families are given a code which allows them entry to our building. Additionally, all of our playgrounds are fenced and secured. Our teachers and our Health and Safety Coordinator perform daily checks of our playground before our children are allowed to go outside and play. We also require all of our teachers to be CPR and First Aid certified.
