School Notes

  • GDA Distinctives:
  • CHRISTIAN -We educate and instill truth in the light of God and His holy Word. Scripture is integrated throughout all subject areas, with faculty consisting of gospel-professing believers. We seek to teach each discipline from a historic Christian worldview. We support the primary discipleship role that belongs to the family.
  • CLASSICAL -We encourage every student to develop a love of learning and to live up to his or her individual academic potential. Every child, regardless of strength in one particular learning style, is blessed through a classical education. Classical elements such as Latin, logic, rhetoric, and the Great Books are integrated across the curriculum. Students learn truth, beauty, and goodness in order to reflect the glory of God in both word and deed.
  • COLLABORATIVE -We work together with parents who are committed to their biblically ordained role as the primary instructors of their children. Gloria Deo Academy offers classes that are designed to be supported by parental involvement. We labor closely with students and parents to develop lifelong discipleship and learning.
