My son went to school here from k-6 (2001 - 2008) - I couldn't ask for a better school for your child to attend. Adam Mateske was the best...I would highly recommend.

My daughter is currently attending Gloria Dei Lutheran School in the 4-yr-old preschool program and absolutely loves it! She used to be very fussy at drop-offs at her old preschool and here we haven't had a single tear in the entire school year. She just got upset a few times when I picked her up as she wanted to stay longer. Miss Marquardt is an extraordinary teacher who is very enthusiastic, caring and loving, yet firm, which is the perfect combination for my (sometimes goofy) daughter. She has learned so much more than I expected, she knows all her letters and numbers and Anne Marquardt has endless ideas how to make class and learning for the children fun and interesting. I love the fact that the school is very flexible when it comes to the days and times when the kids can attend school. It has been extremely helpful to be able to leave my daughter at school longer at times in case I needed to help out at my other daughters school or so. It made my life so much easier. The facility is bright and pleasant, they have a cute little playground, but the building needs improvement.

It is a gift to be a part of this school! I have been a teacher for twenty years and I cannot say enough about the quality of education at Gloria Dei. Each child receives individualized attention within a challenging academic setting. My son is thriving and loves school. The teachers, staff, and pastor are some of the most incredible and loving people you will ever meet. This school is the best kept secret on the peninsula!!!

As a parent of two kids at Gloria Dei (one in K and one in 1) and going into our second year here, I highly, highly recommend Gloria Dei. Our children are truly thriving. This is a small community-type school and our children receive outstanding attention. I highly recommend Gloria Dei.
