Mrs. Poland, I got a phone call from Sam right after his assessment and he was all smiles and happiness. I couldn't be more relieved. What a complete 180 from getting him out the door to go. I could not be more grateful and relieved that it ended up being a positive experience for him. Thank you!!!! See you next week

Glenwood Country Day is a delightful and refreshing school to attend. My kids love their 40-wooded campus because they hate being inside for the majority of the day. The teachers and Head of School, Ms. Poland, are genuinely kind and truly care about the children they serve - only ages 2 through 6. They also meet a child where they are, not where something expects them to be. The group by ability and not just by age. They can do this because the Maryland State Department of Education acknowledges this through their accreditation. Best school ever!!

Thank you GCDS! When all other schools were virtual or hybrid this year, you made the courageous decision to go fully in person 5 days a week! And we made it through a whole school year with no COVID closings! On behalf of all working parents, THANK YOU!!!!!

I am happily satisfied with Glenwood Country Day School. The teachers and administrators are very respectful and nurturing. The children are always so happy. I am happy that my husband and I made this decision to send our 2 children here to GCDS. It is a wonderful private school in which the children can grow. We are very happy with our choice of school.

We moved to GCDS after not being satisfied with our former daycare/preschool. GCDS has taught my 4 year old to read and my two year old can count with a purpose. They have fun but are still learning extremely fast! My children do not have any learning issues such as ADHD, dyslexia, etc. Sure there are cheaper options but you get what you pay for. Best decision we ever made.
