While I have worked at the affiliated high school, both my sons have attended Fairmont`s Historic Anaheim campus since Pre-School. They are now in the first and third grade respectfully and the change I have witnessed in them has been exceptional. While some will say my opinion is biased given my relationship, but when it comes to my own children`s education I am completely honest and open-I want the best for them. So, before the pandemic hit, my children had advanced academically far beyond everything my wife and I had hoped for. Each and every year their teachers have worked wonders and taught them both work far beyond the grade level they are in. When they come home with a love for reading and are tackling math problems that I scratch my head at-we were amazed. I could wax lyrically about Fairmont`s elementary teachers, but what we saw during the pandemic is what truly sets them apart. The speed at which their teachers pivoted was incredible and my words cannot do me justice when it comes to how grateful we are. Our kids did not miss an academic beat and the "covid slide" wasn`t something they experienced. We love the atmosphere, the care, the guidance, and most importantly, our kids love going to school each day.

We love our school! Initially nervous about the transition to remote learning, but they've done an amazing job. Our children are learning and thriving remotely, all while being members of a supportive class community. We also love the IB curriculum, which inspires critical thinking and intrinsic motivation.
