My children have been at EDS for 6 years. My oldest will be graduating at the end of this year, and my youngest has 3 years left. Truthfully, I never planned on sending my kids to private school, since both my husband and I attended public school. However, we couldn't be happier with our experience at EDS through the years. No, nothing is perfect (but what is?), and yes, the school has far exceeded our expectations. Our youngest was diagnosed with ADHD 2 years ago, and we have gotten great support working with the teachers, which I realize now, is one value of smaller class size. Each year, my kids say that their current teacher is their favorite. My highest praise, though, comes from the very odd experience of educating during the midst of Covid-19. This past Spring, EDS pulled off a HUGE and quick pivot to online learning, during which time my kids were actually taught during the day by their teachers through zoom. Yes, I had to manage the situation at home, but we would not have made it from March-May without the amazing job their teachers and the administration did to ensure that our kids continued to learn through the end of the school year. And more praise follows for how they have found a safe and effective way to begin this school year (Fall 2020) in person.

EDS is providing a solid and well-rounded education for our children. They are confident and excelling socially and academically. Dr. Connett is taking the program to an even higher level.

We have been very happy with our experience at EDS. Our son is in the Pre-K program and we find the smaller class sizes and interactive learning have greatly benefited his development both emotionally and socially. Teachers, Headmistress, and all staff are extremely communicative and friendly.

Great school. Loving family environment that allows a kid to be a kid. Focused on whole child; not test results driven.
