Emmanuel Christian School

This is my son's first year at Emmanuel and he comes from a homeschooling background. I can't say enough about the teachers and staff and how they have been so supportive of him as he transitions into a more traditional school setting. They provide an environment that encourages all students to honor God and be the best they can be. The communication is wonderful and I love the School Work program that allows me to see all of his grades, homework, etc. I highly recommend this school.

Emmanuel Christian School is such a wonderful, loving, Christ honoring, Christ centered school. My children are in 6th and 3rd grade and had been homeschooled up to this point. Principal Messer and the teachers of Emmanuel have gone above and beyond to make this transition year wonderful for my kids and our family. We are so thankful for Emmanuel Christian School!

We love ECS! My son looks forward to going to school every day and is learning so much! The Abeka curriculum gives such a great foundation for their education, and the teachers are highly qualified and devoted to their classes! So thankful for such a wonderful Christian school in Hagerstown to be able to send all my children to and know that they are in a Christian environment being taught with both high academic excellence and biblical values! The fine arts competitions and athletics are also a plus!

ECS is a great Christian school. My children are doing great with the help of the staff who help them grow not just academically but spiritually as well!

This is the first year we had a child attend ECS. We appreciate their standards both spiritually and academically. The teachers and staff have been great to work with and are willing to help through any problems. They teach respect for each other and respect for authority.

Our TWIN boys have been at Emmanuel Christian School since they were 5 and have thrived in this nurturing environment. Not only does ECS focus on education and lessons, but they also support our Christian beliefs plus the basic essentials in life: patriotism, time management, treating others with respect, respecting your environment, working independently. The material is presented through hands on lessons that encourage retention. I have been amazed hearing my children repeat their knowledge to me and in their prayers to GOD. The gift of a Christian education creates a well-rounded child who is prepared for all life's challenges, who is curious about the world around them, who asks questions and challenges old thinking, and has the work ethic to achieve greatness by thinking outside of the box while keeping their promise to GOD. We will continue to send our children to ECS every year so that I can fulfill my purpose to GOD to raise our children to love HIM and be guided by HIM.

Emmanuel Christian School offers Christ centered education. The teachers, staff and students are amazing! It is an affordable quality education.

Emmanuel Christian School has been such a blessing to our entire family! My nephews are thriving in this small Christ-centered atmosphere. I am so thankful for the loving kindness of the staff and the individualized attention given to my nephews. They enjoy the special activities and now love school.

We found Emmanuel Christian School and what a treasure. Our student started here in 10th grade. She has grown tremendously with the care of the wonderful teachers and admin. The curriculum has been a welcome relief from the public school education system. Our daughter is happier, growing deeper in her faith, and I believe learning so much more here.

It is such a blessing to be part of God's work here at ECS! The staff are wonderful and the students are very special young people. My three girls are enrolled here and they love it! It really is a great place to be.

ECS is a wonderful school! My children have gone there all their school years. I know my children are being taught well academically and spiritually. My boys are loving Emmanuel Christian School! They had been homeschooled up until this fall and started 6th and 8th grades with ECS this year. The transition was amazing! Every single teacher loves and guides the children well, the education is stellar, and I love that the values we teach in our home are being reinforced at school.

Grandson attends, he is in K-4. The curriculum is geared for his age. His teacher his very committed to her students. Excited about the music classes offered and sports that he will be a part of. The complete staff is a great team for the school.

Emmanuel Christian School is an exceptional private school. Its values are Christ-centered and the curriculum used is very thorough. It is obvious that the staff truly cares about the well-being - both spiritually and academically of the students. My children love their school and their teachers.

The staff at Emmanuel Christian school is kind, caring, Godly Christians who love the Lord and children. I work in the church office which is in the same building, so I have the privilege of being able to interact with the teachers and students on occasion. They are an encouragement to me!
