Our son has been at Eagle Hill for 4+ years and it was the best decision we've ever made. Our son struggled academically at our (exceptional) local public school, and those struggles affected him socially and emotionally as well. He dreaded going to school, felt self-conscious and had no confidence. Almost immediately after starting at Eagle Hill, our son was a changed child in just about every way possible. We knew we had found the right school for him. Our son was welcomed, nurtured and understood for the first time. The staff and teachers at Eagle Hill are incredible; they quickly figured out and implemented the strategies our son needed to succeed as a student. Over the years we've seen his confidence grow. Now our son dreads the day he will graduate from Eagle Hill.

Eagle Hill School is the most magical place to learn. The "magic" begins with incredible faculty that care for each student and literally create a love of learning in students that fosters future success. The small class size permits each child to flourish and develop a meaningful academic relationship with his/her teacher. Many children come to Eagle Hill with low self esteem after a negative previous educational experience. Eagle Hill nurtures the whole child and restores confidence while building academic and social skills. I am in awe of the incredible work that occurs at Eagle Hill School and I feel so fortunate the my son attends this unique academic institution.

We can't say enough about this phenomenal school. Before our son attended Eagle Hill, everything was a struggle. He would come home from school with homework and would sit and stare at the pages not knowing what to do. More often than not, assignments wouldn't be completed and his frustration turned to tears. He struggled to keep up with his peers in classes and he felt like he was not smart. Since he began attending Eagle Hill, he has become a different child. He enjoys school, likes his classes and teachers and has found that he is a smart boy. He understands that he learns differently just like all the other kids in his class. His teachers have made him feel capable and his self confidence has grown each year. He no longer is the one kid in class who just doesn't get it. He knows how he learns best and has begun to advocate for himself. The faculty and staff here really care about the social and academic growth of each child. We wish we had sent our son here sooner but are thrilled to know that when he is done and moves on to high school, he will be confident and prepared.

As a parent of both an alumni and a current student , I can not say enough wonderful accolades about Eagle Hill School in Greenwich. In my opinion, this program sets the gold standard for students with language based learning challenges. Sending your child to EHS is the best gift you can possibly give!

My son, who has ADHD, spent 3 years (grades 7-9) at EHS and it changed his life. He struggled in regular ed for years and the demands of middle school overwhelmed him. EHS helped him learn strategies to deal with his significant executive functioning deficits and worked with him where he was academically to "fill in the gaps" and prepare him to go back into the mainstream. He is now a Junior in high school where he is achieving beyond our expectations academically (3.0+ GPA), is a student leader, and is in the beginning of his college search process. None of this would have happened without the excellent skill-based program Eagle Hill provided.
