The River School's leadership team invites you to a noon program and curriculum discussion on Monday, December 16 at Noon over Zoom. We'll share what sets River apart and how our students develop a deep love of learning and find their unique voice. We'll leave plenty of time for your questions. We'll also walk you through the admission process. We are dedicated to serving children 18 months - Grade 5 (currently), and our one-of-a-kind co-teaching model pairs a master's level educator with a speech-language pathologist in each classroom. With an emphasis on experiential and collaborative learning, we use a thematic curriculum that seamlessly integrates literacy, math, science, social studies, drama, music, visual arts, physical education and creative movement. The Whitehaven Campus is located at 4700 Whitehaven Parkway, NW. Please park in the diagonal parking spaces on the south side of upper Whitehaven Parkway or in available spaces in the small parking lot adjacent to the Church and Day School building and enter through the Main Entrance to the Day School. The Whitehaven event is for adults only. If you are applying to Grades 5-8, please join us WITH YOUR CHILD on our MacArthur Campus. The MacArthur Campus is located at 4590 MacArthur Boulevard, NW.
