- Our Catholic, Piarist centered tradition ensures the highest priority is educating the total young man (intellectually, spiritually, physically, and emotionally)
- Devon Prep`s intimate, but diverse, student body population is a strength and an advantage. Faculty and staff get to know each student on an individual level, the school can make adjustments and adaptions more quickly than larger, slower institutions, and we can foster a deeper sense of school community.
- Devon Prep is a rigorous, world class academic institution. Our key differentiator is our focus on offering the highest quality education through a challenging, cutting edge curriculum taught by a well-credentialed faculty with a deep personal alignment to Devon Prep`s mission.
- We teach faculty and students to focus on the learning process, not just the outcomes.
- By focusing on the learning process, students increase attention and focus, develop critical thinking skills, and practice true learning.

In selecting a middle school for our son, we wanted a place where he would be seen for who he is and encouraged to try new things. A place where teachers teach and encourage each individual student`s needs and interests. Upon touring Devon and meeting the wonderful teachers and administration, we knew he would not just be a number, but be a valued member of the school community. Our hopes were correct and as he begins his senior year, we could not be more grateful for the experiences he has been afforded. We love the class sizes, the student/teacher ratio, the academic rigor, extracurricular activities, and service learning opportunities. It has been the perfect fit for our son and we are looking forward to sending our other sons to Devon.

My son, Andrew George Hope, graduated in 2000 from Devon Prep and he was a member of the 7-Year Club. I cannot begin to say how grateful I am that Andrew attended Devon Prep. After Devon, Andrew was accepted to the University of Virginia, graduated in 2004; then on to Columbia Law, graduating in 2010. There was an expression that was frequently used during Andrew's years at Devon..." it's all because of the Devon Difference". Not only did Andrew thrive during his 7 years at Devon, so did his parents...my husband, but Tony & I also had the privilege of meeting the most wonderful parents. God Bless Devon Preparatory School!!.
