School Notes

  • Dayspring Academy is here to assist families in middle Tennessee. In today`s world, parenting requires more prayer and precision than perhaps has ever been required. As parents, we want our children to be fully equipped academically so they are prepared to attend the universities of their choice in order to develop the skills necessary and earn the degree necessary for the career of their choosing. This requires a myriad of rigorous academic training which must be comprehensive in composition.
  • Dayspring Academy is here to serve these needs. As moms and dads we want to know when we leave for work each day our children will be provided a safe and secure environment in which to learn and hone such skills. We want to know our children are able to interact with others their age in courses which give them the opportunity to analyze material, draw conclusions, debate viewpoints, and develop the ability to think critically and objectively. And yet, as parents we innately know this type of development must come under the guidance of those who regard Biblically-based values and are not constrained to the extent that these values are not at the core of all that is said and done, and the root of reason. Dayspring provides a Christian environment for this purpose.
  • As parents, we want our kids to learn responsibility in an intense academic setting. And, we want to know everyone has our kids` best interests at heart. Dayspring faculty and staff have your children`s best interests at the heart of all we do. At Dayspring we welcome the opportunity to serve your family.Contact ustoday to learn more about how we are fulfilling our missionand for a school tour.

Dayspring is a phenomenal school. I'm so proud to be alumni. Dayspring thoroughly prepared me for college and I was even able to graduate early. I'm forever grateful for the DSA teachers and faculty. I will forever cherish my memories from Dayspring.

I am grateful for the service that Dayspring provides to the community, and for the opportunity that I have to give back to the school that supported me through my challenging high school years. Eleven years later, I have two children in pre-school and elementary schools (soon to be three). I couldn't imagine my children attending anywhere else. The education programs are second to none, but more importantly, the atmosphere is safe, comfortable, and promotes Godly characteristics and interactions. Dayspring is the epitome of "it takes a village to raise a child", so thank you Dayspring administration, faculty, staff, and community for your unwavering dedication to your students and families.

I've been with Dayspring Academy for 4 years now and it's been an absolute blast. The teachers are absolutely amazing. Before I went to this school, I had no friends. Now I have tons of friends. The teachers are patient and caring. And I have learned so much. The plays in elementary are always fun and interesting. Before I went to this school, I was a nervous, shy and dumb person, but now I'm confident and a very happy person. I can't wait to see what comes next.

We are approaching our fifth fall break at Dayspring Academy. Where does one begin to convey just how much Dayspring Academy has done and means to our family? For starters, I have a fourth grader that started in Kindergarten and a second grader that started in PreK. The leaps and bounds they have each grown in the last five years is astounding! Of course this growth is easily identified on an academic level, but just as equally important is the individual and person growth of my very two different children. Dayspring offers individual direction for each child. They both feel safe and ready to learn upon walking in the doors. As a parent, I don't feel I (or any other parent) have to compromise academics for Christian values, nor do I have to compromise our values for academic development. I can drop them off knowing they will grow and learn so much more each day and do so in a way that just gives me feelings of peace and gratitude!

I am a Dayspring Academy alumni and now a parent of 2 (soon 3) children at Dayspring Academy. My husband and I both graduated from Dayspring and coming from the student perspective, I can not imagine having gone anywhere else. Dayspring Academy played a major role in preparing me for life after high school, both Spiritually and academically. I can say with 100% certainty that I would not be where I am today without Dayspring. The administration and faculty truly care about each student and family. They do everything in their power to make sure each student reaches their full potential. From a parent perspective, I see all of these things I said above and more. The most important thing for me is knowing my child is truly cared for and safe. I never worry about my babies being at school. My kids love Dayspring Academy just as much as my husband and I did. We love and are so very thankful for Dayspring Academy and the faculty and staff. 10/10 recommend!

We have 2 daughters at Dayspring from pre-K through 3rd grade. The school is amazing. Above and beyond the academics are classes, even for children in programming, drama (there is an elementary and upper school play every year), and music among many other activities including basketball and robotics teams. But, most importantly, the whole staff is tremendously patient and helpful - working with parents and students alike.

We just recently moved to TN. When we was looking into school options we decided to look more into private school after my husbands coworkers suggested it. I can say I`m so glad we chose Dayspring Academy. My kids absolutely love the school and their teachers. They wake up every morning excited to go. The after school program is awesome too. I know my kids are in great hands. The faculty are all down to earth and great people. I couldn`t imagine sending my kids anywhere else. I would recommend if your thinking about sending your child to Dayspring to take a tour. I`m sure you will love it as much as we do. I`d also like to add that their precautions for COVID are great and they seem to care for the kids like they are their own. Thank you Dayspring Academy for treating our kids like they was your own

DAYSPRING ACADEMY truly is the finest school in our area. They prepare your child for the next phase of their life by teaching them to be responsible, productive, respectful citizens. My son was with DSA from 8th grade thru 12th. He graduated with a full scholarship to an area university....& he graduated from that university with a 4.0 GPA with a mathematics major and education minor. Thank you DSA!

My son started in 3rd grade and he recently graduated as a Salutatorian and he received a full scholarship to the college he chose. The academics are top-notch and the school is very inclusive to all children. We have had a wonderful experience.

We just began our second year at DSA. By far best decision we could have made for our kiddo. He loves his teachers and they love him well too. We have no doubt in his preparedness for the future.
