We were introduced to this school 14 years ago when we were looking for daycare for my daughter. A coworker suggested it as an option to my wife. The cost attracted us first, followed by the fact that it was instruction with a biblical worldview. My daughter attended K3 through 8th grade. As they came of age later, we enrolled our 3 boys who still attend. The teachers have a heart for teaching in this environment and do so as a calling, not for a paycheck as they get less than they would in public education. Though we have been here for 14 years, this school has always felt like home to us. They have drama, a bell choir, a band, art, foreign languages, and other electives as they get older. They have recently developed a strong volleyball team, basketball, track, and Cross Country. My daughter loved cross country and still competes in high school. Being a small school with no government assistance until the recent Hope schoolships were offered in WV, they have a tight budget and do several fundraisers, not unlike public schools. There are several volunteer opportunities to be involved with your children such as reading to the kids, coaching, leading a Lego league, helping with their school lunch program, or even helping with trail maintenance for the cross-country team. There are also employment opportunities if you want to be an integral part of their mission to "feed the little lambs".
