Central Florida Preparatory School

Central Florida Preparatory School seeks to provide every student with an opportunity to optimize their academic potential, to develop a positive self-image, and to encourage a life-long desire for learning.
Central Florida Preparatory School believes that to effectively optimize a child's academic potential, a school must provide a learning environment that incorporates a variety of learning techniques while accommodating individual learning styles. At CFP, we accomplish this by providing a low student/teacher ratio which allows a teacher to better understand how each student learns.
Our small class sizes allow our teachers to individualize lesson plans, be more responsive to students' needs, and to continually challenge them academically.
By approaching education in this manner, a student experiences success and develops a strong self image regarding his/her academic ability.
When children experience success and feel good about their learning environment they develop a positive attitude that remains with them for life.

I absolutely love CFP. My son started in Middle school and is a currently a Junior. The only thing better than the school is the administration. From the school director Rowena to the phenomenal principal Sandy to the head of finance, Chip. Everyone is authentic and truly kind. Finding CFP has been a g-d send for our family and if you are considering it, it will be for yours as well.

I would gladly say this even if I had not been an employee. I have had a relationship with this school for the past 10 years, 3 as an employee. If my children were of school age, I would have no hesitation sending my children to CFP. The classroom sizes are smaller, the teachers truly care about their students, the attention the children receive is always one-on-one and very timely. Their staff is always available to listen to their hearts and attend to their needs. They are treated by the staff as if they are their own children. Each child is embraced daily with encouragement and positive reinforcement as well as a strong educational foundation. Everyday they are loved! You will not regret placing your child in this school.

My children do not attend this school, but we are highly considering it. (Once they are of age of course). However, I have heard so many great things about this school. From the faculty, to the atmosphere, and especially the way of teaching! I highly recommend!

Smaller class size and individualized support make a great difference! My boys are excited to begin in 5th and 6th grades at Central Florida Prep in August. They've each had trial days last school year, and are currently participating in their summer camps. Both are enthusiastic about the school, caring staff, and peer relationships. It is apparent the great match that is already taking place and how fortunate we are to live within a short proximity to CFP.

We have been at the school for 3/4 years now and both of my boys go there. They love the school and enjoy going to school everyday. The staff takes great care of them and makes them feel like they are family. I am glad to have my boys there.

We were at a much bigger private school and felt lost with no solutions and then we started this year at CFP. This school is a very well kept secret small class sizes inovative learning with each child using laptops and progressive techniques. My child is not only happy but learning. If you want your child to have a quality elementary school education Look no further bigger is not always better ...a large campus and all the bells and whistles don't matter if Yu our child is not getting the attention they need.

I feel very fortunate to have found this school for my daughter. Mrs. Pierson's and Mrs. Claudia's Montessori classroom is excellent. In addition to getting a superb education, my daughter and her classmates/friends are been loved, nurtured and most importantly, there is a continuation of the values taught at home; to be kind and respectful of others. Mrs. Pierson's and Mrs. Claudia's love for teaching, shows on every aspect of our interaction. I like the constant communication through the portal and via text message. CFP also offers great enrichment programs. Coach Socca does an excellent job with the soccer program. Some of the enrichment programs my daughter has enjoyed are Zumba, Yoga, Violin Class, Art and Crafts and Ballet/Tap class. The aftercare supervisor, Mrs. Cook and the assistant, Ms. Taylor are wonderful with the kids. My family also enjoys the extracurricular activities the school organizes throughout the year.

My children has been with Central FL Prep (CFP) for years. I am very happy with their curriculum, staff and approach to education. Over the past several years, CFP has improved it's offering. Now they include a digital platform, laptops for every student, an extensive Science Program and Project Lead the Way. My children love CFP and so do I!

We have loved our CFP family since 2010 and both my children are incredibly happy there. Academically they are blossoming; both excel in reading and math. But what I love most as a parent raising children to navigate in an ever changing world is that a love for learning is being instilled not just the act of learning! I also love that the parents may be involved at any level both academically and socially and can be a part of how my children grow. The digital, STEM and art curriculum are just as fantastic as the very competent and caring staff!

Our family loves this school! My daughter is blossoming academically because of the small class sizes. We love the fact she gets a lot more individual attention than a public school classroom. We also like the digital curriculum format. CFP has a family vibe to it that makes me appreciate the teachers and staff more. I know my daughter is in a safe place, and that everyone truly cares about her here!

I am VERY happy with the overall program at CFP. My child has been encouraged to play sports and join the National Honor Society. It is a small environment with a big school attitude. Parents are welcome to be involved. I think my daughter is loving the new Digital Media program. This was the best choice we made to bring our child to this private school.
