I have known Susan Carlisle for over forty years and all of that time she's been teaching Montessori materials with children; she's very loving and passionate about giving the children a love for the classics - classic folk tales, beautiful music, reading good books, writing, and math. My children have a deep love for literature and the classics because of her. I love to visit Susan with the children on the playground or in the school room in the back! The children love to be there! Request a visit! You'll be happy that you did! Alumni and their parents have been visiting her for many years - she's a friend to parents and children alike!

My daughter has been attending this school for almost a year now and the amount of developmental growth she has made is truly mind-blowing! She comes home from school happy, talking about her friends, and saying new words in Spanish daily! She is always so excited in the mornings to go "See her friends and learn."-.she`s two years old and knows more than some of my friends four years old because of the wonderful job this school does! I could not recommend The Carlisle School enough!

This school is absolutely incredible. Our daughter has gone here since she was 17 months old (she is almost 3 years old now) and is truly thriving. We love the interaction she gets with kids of different ages and she already knows more Spanish than we do. It continually amazes us how much she is learning, and she simply loves going to school with all her friends. I could not recommend it enough.

I am a former student of The Carlisle School. I just heard a song in 101.1, the Classical Station, which brought me back to my days at the school. I am now 35, so it's been quite a while, but I'm sure it's still similar. Very unique curriculum with a focus on classical music, languages, reading, physical fitness, art, and handwriting. I loved the cursive practice sheets, there was a balance beam in the middle of one of a room where we'd do challenges! I recall learning pledges in multiple different languages, and nap time with classical music playing. The courtyard play area was just the best. The school definitely attributed to my love of classical music as an adult. Such fond memories.Thank you so very much for shaping me as a young child.
