Spellman formed me more than college did. At virtually every multinational firm I have worked in my adult life, I have found at least one proud Spellman alumnus. We are proud and we are many.

Cardinal Spellman has an amazing list of alumni that includes Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor and National Geographic CEO John Fahey among many other hugely successful men and women in a variety of disciplines. All my siblings and I attended Spellman and despite the neighborhood being somewhat less than ideal, the next generation have aspired to attend what we know to be a school where we can expect to be challenged. Spellman is a large school with each year accommodating over 400 students in each year. Despite this, I think they do an excellent job of forming disciplined young men and women while still enabling independent thinking. Considering the high level of academia and attention to students offered, the tuition is one of the best deals in New York City.
