Our History
Located in West Boca Raton, Boca Prep International School has provided a world-class education to students from preschool to high school for more than 15 years. The International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum is taught at each grade level and is the core of our robust program. As an IB World School, we focus on the global standards set by a board of governors comprised of academic professionals from around the world. We take pride in developing our students to become future generations of global citizens who will pursue careers and talents that will positively impact our community.
Learning to Trust
We encourage emotional intelligence within our students and help them develop their individual talents. These are life-enriching values that we feel are key components in a child's education. Through a carefully crafted academic program, we encourage personal development through games and activities, where students learn to manage change and transform conflict, to understand peace, to solve problems and manage time, to listen to the needs of others, to develop self respect and self confidence, and to use good manners.
Lower School
Our Lower School begins with preschool at the age of three. Our Primary Years Program (PYP) "Candidate School" helps students develop a love of learning and cultivate their fundamental skills while building the sefl-confidence to investigate. We also provide essential knowledge and promote creativity. We educate the "whole child" and create inquiring life-long learners who encompass all attributes of the IB learner profile.
At the core of the IB Primary Years Program are the six Trans-disciplinary Themes. These themes have global significance. They create a framework that encompasses all learning while providing a blance between the subject areas and the learning that occurs beyond them. Our students go on to pursue careers and develop talents that positively impact our communities.
Upper School
The Upper School is comprised of grades six to twelve. As an IB World School, we offer two programs in the Upper School. The Middle Years Program (MYP), which is offered from grades six to ten and connects subjects trhough interdisciplinary themes. The MYP does not prescribe a particular curriculum. It is instead a framework for delivering and assessing the curriculum already in place. Connections are made between eight different subject groups and their global contexts.

This is a great school. My child is the happiest he has ever been. They have an IB diploma offering. Classes are small, the food is excellent and if your child is an athlete, this is much better than the home school option they encourage you to do with your children to have time for a sport. Great school.
