Bell Canyon Montessori has been such a wonderful place for our child to learn and grow over the past year. I was searching for a preschool environment for my child to attend during my working hours when I found BCM. The school director answered all of my (many) questions during the school tour and allowed us to observe some of the class time before we made our decision. I was immediately impressed with the calm and inviting environment of the entire school. I originally started my child on the half day morning schedule and had a nanny come to my home in the afternoons, but quickly knew switching to full day preschool at BCM was the better decision for my child. The learning and care they were receiving was incredible and I wish I would have found it a little sooner. We love the teachers and school director and my child always has positive experiences to share with me each day after school. My child has learned sooo much more than I did in preschool which is a great testament to not only the Montessori method but also the amazing staff. The curriculum is customized to my child and they are able to learn and absorb so much more than we could ever teach on our own at home (my child's vocabulary and understanding is immense and has already learned a great deal of Spanish!). The social interactions with classmates have been such a wonderful thing at this time for my child during the pandemic. Bell Canyon`s response to Covid has been nothing short of excellent. They were very thoughtful in their decisions and adapted very quickly. Their safety protocols have given us complete peace of mind, while providing our child the in person interaction they need. The Bell Canyon teachers and director are excellent and we could not be more grateful for their continued dedication as they have chosen to work extra hard to accommodate the `new normal` and all its challenges. We are extremely happy that we chose Bell Canyon Montessori for our child. I highly recommend it to all my friends.
