Arma Dei Academy`s mission is to glorify God by providing an
excellent classical Christian education founded upon a biblical
worldview that equips students to live purposefully and
intelligently in service to God and others.
Educating to glorify God
A classical Christian education teaches students how to think and not just what to think. We encourage thoughtful, intelligent faith and help students pursue excellence with humility. We partner with parents to help children thrive and flourish intellectually & spiritually. Arma Dei Academy raises the standards beyond what our culture expects by training students to reason, discern, and aspire.
Arma Dei Academy Distictives:
Our preschool provides a high-quality early childhood experience in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. The program prepares students for the classical model of education by encouraging memorization through song and poetry, hands-on exploration, and exposure to rich literature that emphasizes God`s story.
Grammar Level (K-5th Grade)
The Grammar School program intentionally builds a strong foundation that cultivates wonder and awe for the order of God and his creation and delight in the true, good, and beautiful. The knowledge learned in the Grammar School provides the fundamentals necessary to think critically, reason clearly, and argue persuasively in the Logic Stage.
Logic Level (6th-8th Grade)
When children become naturally argumentative, the Logic stage teaches students to engage in debate and discussions thoughtfully and charitably. Students interact through Socratic dialogue and are trained in informal and formal logic. Logical training and reasoning spans all disciplines and is cultivated in tandem with humility, love, and virtue.
Rhetoric Level (9th-12th Grade)
Arma Dei Academy will be launching the School of Rhetoric Fall of 2021!In grades 9-12, classical Rhetoric is emphasized as the fundamental skill of speaking and writing well. It is taught, practiced, and refined throughout every subject and class including science, mathematics, theology, languages, and the humanities. Building on the foundation of grammar and logical reasoning, rhetoric is the skill of finding the best available means of persuasion in order to lead others into what istrue, good, andbeautiful. The culmination of an Arma Dei School of Rhetoric education is a senior thesis presentation and a capstone trip.
Homeschool Collaborative (K - 6th Grade)
The Homeschool Collaborative is a unique partnership in which classroom teachers co-labor with parent-teachers in the education of their children at school and at home. Collaborative students benefit from a brick and mortar classroom experience two days per week and continue that learning with their teaching parents at home three days per week. Primary benefits include a classical Christian education that in addition to the core subjects of math and language arts, also includes Latin, science, music, and art, along with flexibility that better supports family culture, more individualized instruction, part-time tuition cost, and fewer days in commute to school.
