At Annunciation school, Modeling the way Jesus taught, the Department of Catholic Education is dedicated to those entrusted with the responsibility of instilling Catholic faith and values in members of our Diocesan Family.
We offer parishes and schools both leadership and support for the educational ministry they conduct through the following goals to provide opportunities for spiritual and intellectual growth for administrators, teachers and catechists, to promote Catholic Identity in our schools, parish religious education programs and other diocesan institutions, to ensure the continued availability of excellent Catholic education in our schools and parish programs, to serve as resource persons to pastors/canonical administrators, school and parish catechetical administrators and other diocesan departments in matters of education, to provide directives and guidelines, including curricula, to ensure consistent and effective program management across the diocese, Catholic Schools and Religious Education programs in the Diocese of Buffalo nurture the following qualities in our students as they mature to Catholic adulthood a strong sense of personal faith and prayer, Religious knowledge, an understanding of Catholic morality, Community membership, Commitment to the Eucharist as central to life as a Catholic, Service and ministry to others, Living out one's Faith in the world.
