Since 1968, Amarillo Montessori Academy had the vision to become "committed to providing quality education in a Montessori setting, encouraging students to develop their potential as self-directed learners and as active, caring, contributing members of society," the Amarillo Montessori Academy, (originally known as Wee Wisdom Montessori School,) has pursued presenting the Montessori method of education to the Texas panhandle.
In our current locations at 3806 and 3807 S. Bowie, our certified Montessori teachers are serving the families of ninety five students ranging in age from six weeks through kindergarten.
