Our daughter attended ASEDS for four years, and we were so pleased by the care and attention she received from all the faculty and staff there. The curriculum was perfect for a young child, with an emphasis on learning through play. We are not religious but found that the Episcopal faith that was shared emphasized love, tolerance, and being a good person, all things we wholeheartedly support. We loved ASEDS so much that our second child will be attending in the fall! Definitely a hidden gem amongst Austin preschools.

So grateful for this wonderful school. I've had three children enrolled there and can't say enough about their thoughtful, nurturing and engaging faculty and administration.

My son has attended ASEDS for two years (3s and Pre-K) and has both enjoyed it and grown tremendously. He's a very anxious and high-strung kid, and All Saints' environment -- truly loving and caring -- has been perfect for him. It's the one activity he's always enthusiastic about. The teachers are great. And -- this is maybe underappreciated in a school -- the other parents are uniformly great. It makes for a really special community. For a lot of schools, there is some signal activity or pedagogical philosophy that you can point to as the defining attribute of the school. That's harder for All Saints', because what really stands out is something that nearly any school is going to claim for itself, namely that it is a place where your child is truly loved. I can say from experience, though, that this is not a mere talking point at ASEDS. As far as the curriculum goes, it is a nice balance of play and instruction, and the pedadogy is practical (good literacy, handwriting and math programs) rather than theory-driven. Kids come out well-prepared for private or public elementary school. There's a range of afterschool enrichment classes available, too, which my son loved.

All Saints' is a sweet nurturing school and my preschooler loved and still loves it dearly. All Saints' Episcopal Day School was our child home away from home during the preschool years. Academically the school has nurtured my child's skills but most importantly it has nurtured her spiritually as a whole caring human being. All Saints whole child preparation made it easier for my child to transition to elementary school and thrive in a totally new environment. Even as a non-religious person I acknowledge and cherish chapel Fridays as days of reflection, connection, and empowerment for my little one. As a working parent, I highly recommend All Saints' Episcopal Day School.

All Saints' was such a special and important place to start our daughter's education. Being her first experience with any form of day care or school, we of course were concerned with the transition. Our worries were quickly alleviated once we witnessed the sweet and skillful abilities of All Saints' and its teachers to bring her into the fold and nurture her desire to explore and create. Her love of learning was fostered in an engaging and fun environment that developed in her an ability to ask questions and seek out the answers. Our daughter gained unique relationships during her first year with her friends and teachers at all levels that continue even after she's moved on to a new school. When we started the process of looking at local private and public schools, she was more than prepared for the next step, and has flourished in her first year at The Girls' School of Austin. We feel All Saints' played a large role in her becoming the bright, curious, and ambitious young lady she is today, and we can't wait for our son to start All Saints' in another year.
