Agudas Achim Preschool

Agudas Achim Preschool has an amazing environment for our kids. Our family has been a part of the school for four years. Despite not being of the Jewish faith, our family has been warmly welcomed into the preschool community. Our children have really liked the teachers, who tirelessly come up with fun activities involving science, nature, and more. The teachers also keep a blog with pictures to allow parents to see what is happening in the classroom. They also have several different time options to accommodate different families' circumstances, with the potential to drop off early or late, and similar flexibility for pick up. I strongly recommend using Agudas Achim Preschool to anyone looking for a nurturing environment for their child!

Agudas Achim is everything we were looking for in a preschool and more! The teachers are absolutely wonderful and honor the individual interests of each child. There is play-focused learning happening in the classroom and throughout a variety of outdoor areas. The director is hands-on, communicates clearly and consistently, and cultivates a wonderful community for teachers, students, and families. We could not be happier sending our child here!

Upon first setting foot in Agudas Achim Preschool, the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere interested us. The walls, adorned with colorful artwork and educational materials, speak to the nurturing environment cultivated here. The staff greeted us with open hearts and sincere smiles, making it evident that they are dedicated to fostering the growth and development of each child. That is what we had hoped to find for my two daughters. The activities at Agudas Achim Preschool are incredibly diverse and stimulating. From paintings and crafts that unleash the artist within to delightful story times that transport the kids to different worlds, every day is an adventure. The preschool even integrates nature activities. Another aspect worth mentioning is their commitment to community building. They celebrate various cultures and traditions, teaching the children the importance of diversity and inclusion. The curriculum is well-thought-out, encompassing not only academic skills but also essential life skills. They focus on hands-on learning, where children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and think critically. The communication between staff and parents is excellent. We receive regular updates about what our children are learning, and they host events where families can come together. This creates a strong bond within the Agudas Achim family. We couldn't be happier with the experience our girls have had at this preschool!

Agudas Achim Preschool is one of the warmest care environments I've ever encountered for my children. The class sizes are small--my daughter currently is in a class of 8 with two full-time highly-qualified teachers and one floater. Unlike a lot of schools with high teacher turnover, the teaching staff at Agudas have been there for many years. They are very loving and respect each individual child's nature. The teachers really get to know the students and families and have great communication, along with the director. I've had two children in the school--my oldest who graduated in 2022 was well-prepared for kindergarten, transitioned beautifully, and is thriving. My other child is currently enrolled and doing great, she has some special needs and the school has been incredibly accommodating with support services. We aren't Jewish either (as are many of the families), and we've been welcomed with open arms. I can't recommend Agudas highly enough!
