Therefore we value and respect each child. We seek to help each child grow to hisher potential academically, spiritually, physically and socially.
Each student will learn peaceful resolution to conflicts, quiet listening, wise use of resources and concern for equality and justice.
Wichita Friends School firmly believes in the quality of education for each child.
To be able to offer quality, we have set aside certain standards to which we will adhere to enable us to deliver the quality we are seeking.

This is a wonderful west side preschool and early childhood elementary school. Classes are small. Lessons are individually paced for each child`s need. Children learn through play as well as traditional instruction. Horizons are expanded into 10 weekly enrichment classes. The teachers use Conscious Discipline for classroom management. WFS is a warm, affirming environment for kids and parents.

My son started at Wichita Friends at the age of 2.5 for preschool and he is now in 1st grade there. We have toured almost every private school in the city and have never considered another school as top-notch, welcoming, and whole child-focused as Wichita Friends. The school provides an amazing education (and I am an educator), a discipline plan from a social/emotional growth mindset, and a fabulous caring community. This is the best-kept education secret in the area.

I love volunteering at Wichita Friends School as an enrichment teacher, seeing how nurturing and esteem-building it is. The children are joyful and feel valued by their teachers and school friends. Their social/emotional curriculum helps all ages, from 2 1/2 years up, discover how to be in a good community. They offer children a great start to their educational path in life.

Wichita Friends School is amazing! It's such a nurturing atmosphere where the teachers can give students so much individualized attention due to the small class sizes. They focus on the whole child! There is an extensive amount of recess time which includes time in an awesome Discovery Playground area! I also love how they have Spanish, and sign language classes. They teach Art each week, and the STEAM room has them doing some pretty cool activities.
