Wayside Baptist Weekday Preschool purpose is to minister to each child and family by providing a loving, caring environment where each child has a sense of belonging and feels safe and secure.
In addition, we concern ourselves with stimulating each child's growth physically, spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, and socially.
It is our desire to stimulate each child's growth in effective ways.
In each room, as well as the school as a whole, we seek to reflect Christ's love.
The school has a Child Care Facility Certificate of License from the Florida Baptist Department of Children and Families, and is an active member of the Dade Association of Southern Baptist Schools.
Wayside Baptist Weekday Preschool is a member of the National Association of Education for Young Children (NAEYC).
Our school far exceeds State requirements with regard to both teacher/student ratio and teacher qualification.
All teachers have their Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA) and both teachers and aides have completed their 40 hour Child Training Course required by the FDCF, and are provided CPR and First Aid training.
