Notes for Prospective Students

At WCDS we seek students who want to be challenged academically and desire to contribute positively to our school environment. We want to give students and families every opportunity to learn about WCDS and know that it is the right fit for them so we require students to shadow, all or part of a day. While they are here they take an in-house placement evaluation, and meet briefly with on of our deans. The developmental evaluation for PS-K is administered by the respective teachers, giving children an opportunity to become familiar with their prospective teachers and the classroom. Older students may even ride the bus as part of their day, giving them and their families a fuller of picture of day to day life at WCDS!
