I can not say enough about this school. Not only does Vacaville Christian School provide top-tier education for all students, but the staff truly cares about providing love and support for each student so that they will thrive academically and emotionally. After the shutdowns, our son really struggled to find his stride again. The teachers and support staff were instrumental in providing an environment that support academic and personal growth. This school was an answer to prayer for our family. Our son is now standing tall and thriving. Thank you Vacaville Christian School, you truly see and care for our kids.

This is the best private school. I will say, no school is perfect, but I am pleased with our experience at this school. My daughter has been going here for the last 6 years. It is truly a community and family. The greatest aspects of this school are the teachers care and love, accelerated academics, and extra-curricular programs. Another significant aspect of this school is relevant assignments and appropriate homework assignments. The most recent impressive thing was the ability of this school to set up and execute and distance learning program within one week, in response to the historic Corona Virus pandemic. Most other schools have yet to execute an infrastructure to continue their children's education. A few examples of the teachers care and dedication to our children is the P.E. teacher goes to her kids sporting events, on weekends and evening, on her own time, when they are part of non-school related sporting events, just for support and to help them while at school. A few of the teachers went to my daughters play, during summer break, to support her. A few of the teachers, who didn't know my daughter, assisted her with skills for a modeling audition, on their own time. The teachers are very creative when teaching their lessons. During history, the teacher was teaching a lesson about a prominent painter, and had the students draw a painting under a table, so the student could experience what the painter experienced when doing their masterpiece. The English teacher assigned a writing assignment title "what it is like to be a teenager". They did this because it is fundamentally important for these teachers to be in touch with the soul of the students, and to academically provide the necessary skills to excel academically. Every year from 5th grade through 12th, they go on a Christine retreat with their class for bonding and stay at a campsite for a week. In the 8th grade they go to Washington DC. During GATE, from 3rd grade on, the teacher, Dr. Marcone, does a guided tour for 10 days, to another country which provides academic enrichment and provides exposure. There is a National Honorary Society in which most students are published. There is an elective that prepares students in broadcasting. VCS owns its own radio station, in which the students can learn on-air engineering and other skills to belong to a national broadcasting society. There are clubs that range from art club, robotics, to personal finance management for teens. I am always leary of reviews that are only one sided. If I had to say the things that need improvement, I would say, the lunch menu is not healthy, but that can be resolved by sending your kid to school with a lunch. The only other thing is that there has been times, when some children have been given to many opportunities, when they should have been disciplined and removed sooner. I do have to say, the discipline issues have been rectified, for the most part. The education is a bit pricey, but the cost is worth the benefit. I hear many stories from the public schools, and this place is a dream compared to what other children are experiencing in the public schools or other private schools. The Head of School is young and innovative and adds a lot of relevant experience to the students. The middle/high school principal and vice principal are the very response to the need of the child. I highly recommend VCS to anyone that wants an exception educational opportunity for their child. They also promote a humble christian education, that assists the kids with excelling as a human being.

My son is in the Kindergarten Readiness Summer Program, and it is great. They offer extended AM and PM hours, making my flexible job requirements convenient. Great teachers, awesome, shady playground and I love the hot lunch program that saves me when mornings are running tight. Can't wait for kindergarten next year!

I have 2 children that have attended Vacaville Christian School for the past 4 years. I feel that the teachers have prepared my daughter academically for high school this fall, and my son for middle school. I really like the teacher to student ratio. I am happy they have been at Vacaville Christian School because they are building a strong foundation for their future.

My grandson started attending VCS at the age of 3. I fell in love with the staff and my grandson thrived while the spiritual/academic foundation was being built. I found peace at knowing he was in an environment where he was safe and those teaching him had a biblical view on life. He begins High School this fall. Time has flown by So many dedicated teachers have contributed to his spiritual, social-emotional & academic development; grateful for VCS.

I moved my daughter from concord to vacaville and we are so glad and happy. Mrs. Ripley the principle was awesome. My daughter needed extra help in reading and took some classes during the summer and she jumped 2.2 grades. It was an amazing improvement. I would recommend this school if you want your child to have a good education.
