Notes for Prospective Students

At Turning Point School, our focus is to nurture each child`s complex cognitive, social, emotional, physical, ethical, and creative development. We seek to enroll students with strong academic promise and to engage with families who share our philosophy of educating the whole child throughout their formative years of learning. Preschool candidates must be 2 years and 9 months by September 1 of the school year in which they enroll and be fully toilet-trained. Kindergarten candidates must be 5 years old by September 1 of the school year in which they enroll. Admissible students demonstrate the potential and ability to be active participants in a highly collaborative learning environment. Turning Point parents are expected to be kind, empathetic partners who can model a growth mindset for children.
