At Tampa Day School we're passionate in our belief that success lives within each child.
It is our joy, challenge and responsibility to seek out, identify and adapt to individual learning styles to create that "best fit" for each child.
By creating an environment of success and promoting high academic standards for every child it all takes shape! Any child (grades 3-8) of average intelligence or above, who would benefit from a small class and who needs a teaching style to fit his or her learning style.
The 3rd through 8th grade students who most benefit from TDS demonstrate average to gifted cognitive abilities, and are better suited to a smaller class size and teaching methods that match their learning styles and needs.
Our mission is captured with a simple expression, UHA! Every teacher Understands, Honors and Achieves your child's unique educational needs.
To achieve this mission, our educational team carefully analyzes the unique learning style of every child.
Our teachers then incorporate strategies into the classroom, specifically adapted to each child's approach to learning.
In fact, prior to admission, we work with you and your child to fully understand how they learn.
So, from day one, we embrace who they are as individuals and instruct them accordingly.

I was so relieved to find Tampa Day School. My child has been there for 5 years and blossomed academically, socially and emotionally because they''ve taken the time to get to know his specific needs, and cultivated his development. I just with they went through 12th grade!

Tampa Day School is the first school where I knew my ADHD son was being educated in a safe loving environment. The teachers are skilled and have high expectations. The head of school creates the right atmosphere for kids who have anxiety or who have struggled in other schools. The classrooms are orderly and well run. Good manners are expected and bullying is not allowed.
