Notes for Prospective Students
Summit Christian Academy was established for the purpose of
providing a Scripture-based educational program for Christian
students and families. The Summit Christian Academy admissions
policy seeks to identify prospective families who are in agreement
with our philosophy. Each student must be enrolled in SCA by the
student's parents or legal guardian, who will be responsible for
the student's behavior and for payment of tuition and fees.
Parents must express willingness for the applicant to be taught
according to the doctrinal statement of the school. Parents must
also agree to support the school's discipline policies and to care
for financial obligations to the school according to school
policies by signing the Financial Agreement annually.
The applicant should express a desire to attend Summit Christian
Academy. The applicant must also express a desire to support the
standards of the school by signing the Student Agreement annually.
Each student will be admitted on a yearly basis. Re-enrollment of a
student will include an overall evaluation of continuing academic
performance and conduct, and how the school will facilitate the
student's educational development in light of that performance and
conduct.
Summit Christian Academy reserves the right to refuse admittance or
to dismiss any student or family who does not respect its spiritual
standards or cooperate in the educational endeavor.
Summit Christian Academy admits students of any race, color,
national or ethic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and
activities generally accorded or made available to students at the
school. Summit Christian Academy does not discriminate on the basis
of race, color, national or ethic origin in administration of
educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan
programs, athletic and/or other school-administered programs with
respect to employment of faculty and administrative staff.
