Our son was diagnosed with Dyslexia and bullied by classmates at his previous school which caused depression and lack of confidence. We moved him to St. Timothy's and their amazing LEAP program. Their LEAP program is a specialized and highly intensive program for students with language-based learning difference like Dyslexia. It has made a HUGE difference. Our son has regained his confidence. He likes school again and his reading has improved exponentially.

Both of our sons attended St. Tim`s from preschool through the 5th grade. Today they are thriving in junior high and high school. St. Tim`s develops the whole child. Their academic standards are top tier. Standardized test scores are excellent across all grade levels. They employ a project based learning technique in many classes and subject areas which has reaped great results. Graduates go on to succeed at top high schools in the Bay Area. These are all strong selling points. But what really differentiates St. Tim`s from other schools goes beyond academic excellence and innovation.St. Tim`s is a family. The kids are truly loved and nurtured. Families are involved. There is an incredible sense of community. The kids learn to love, respect, and empathize. These are traits that are so critical, especially today. I strongly recommend St. Tim`s to any family looking not only for academic excellence, but who seek a warm, loving, safe environment where the kids thrive in large part because they are loved.

Both of my children attend St. Tim's (pre 2's and pre 3/4's). We've been extremely pleased with the teachers and administration who provide a perfect blend of education and care into each student. The campus is great and both of my kids love going to school each day! Parents are actively involved - both in the classroom and after-hour school events. The Christ-centered learning at St. Tim's is wonderful and there is a close connection with the church so our children are growing in faith and formal education at the same time. Choosing a school without a personal connection is hard, but I would wholeheartedly recommend St. Tim's to any family looking for a great private school in San Jose!

The staff at St Tim's is phenomenal, and each person there is solely focused on providing a safe and nurturing Christ-centered environment for every student where they can grow their individual abilities to their fullest capacity. The families at St. Tim's are likewise a close-knit community that is very supportive and caring. The classes' small size helps maintain an excellent student to teacher ratio, which combined with the latest technology allows each student to follow a customized curriculum for math, reading, and other topics. This keeps the focus on what each student knows and keeps them moving forward - even allowing students to progress well beyond their grade level where appropriate. We have complete confidence that our daughters will graduate from St. Tim's well equipped for their future.

St. Timothy's Lutheran school helped our daughter to become a very confident girl. We started at St. Tim's in Pre-4's and by the end of the year she was able to read. She continued her wonderful education through 5th grade. Learning computer skills, leadership, music, and art. She started as a shy girl not apt to give her option. By graduation she blossomed to use her voice and speak her option. She will be attending a competitive middle school in the fall. St. Tim's has prepped her to success. Thanks St.Tim''a staff!
