St. Pius is a unique environment with a strong, loving community. The school truly lives its motto of "Love One Another" in thought, word and deed. We have had experiences with other schools and I have been impressed year after year with the level of care and concern for each individual at this school by the teachers and administration. Our child mainstreamed from a LD school into St. Pius at a young age and has been exceptionally supported throughout her tenure at SPX. SPX is not learning different focused, but is certainly LD supportive and willing to find unique ways to accommodate for kids that need some extra support, but without sacrificing the rigor and challenge one expects to receive from a Catholic education. I applaud Mrs. Scott and Mrs. Garza for their continued investment in each child in this school. It`s evident that each of them cares deeply for each child in their care and both are led by Spirit to invest the time and resources needed to consider the whole child, both academically and spiritually.

My children are very happy here and I would highly recommend it to parents of children who are (a) entering school as a new student in Dallas, (b) having trouble in other schools such as from bullying or being under challenged. Sports program is outstanding, coaches are well trained and safe-environment cleared. We''ve been there for 3 years now and have had nothing but a great experience. All schools have ups and downs, but this school's negatives are negated by the over-abundance of positives!

Not just a school but extended family. Teachers and other parents supportive of the kids in academic and sport activities. Great tiger spirit! My children who have gone through SPX, now in public high school, have been commended on their polite behavior and hard work. Above the top 10% in their classes and accepted at top colleges. SPX provided the foundation to help them grow to be amazing young adults.

Love the school! I have six children so have had students at Saint Pius since 1993. Only one left to graduate but she has a few more years left. I find the academics challenging but if your child needs help they offer tutoring after school plus they have a reading specialist your child can go to for extra reading help..she will also help administer tests to your child. They have lots of sports programs your child can participate in starting in fifth grade but academics do come first. There is no pass no play which I love because it keeps the students motivated. They have academic extracurricular activities your child can participate in starting in first grade!!! As a Catholic parent I love the religious education program. Your child will be taught their faith and how to live it!
