St. Mary's offers a rich tradition of Catholic school education for students in preschool through grade eight. Accepting students at 2.9
We are a culturally diverse community that is guided by the Commandments of Love of God and Love of Neighbor.
In addition to religious instruction, the school curriculum challenges students to gain mastery in language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies by fostering inquiry, problem solving, and decision making skills.
Teachers develop and support an awareness of the connections between subjects by providing opportunities for student projects and presentations.
We believe that the curriculum should be integrated and reflect life experiences.
At all levels, students are provided with opportunities to explore their talents and interests when they participate in weekly art, music, physical education, and computer classes.
Starting at grade KII and continuing through grade 8, students are instructed in Spanish language and culture.

  • St. Mary's was established as a parish school in 1899. St. Mary's offers a rich tradition of Catholic school education for students in preschool through grade eight. Implementing a rigorous curriculum our students are accepted at some of the finest exam schools in the area. 90% of our middle schoolers are accepted at Boston Latin School.

St. Mary of the Assumption is a wonderful school. The academics far surpass the public schools in the area. The school community is extremely diverse with many cultures and religions represented. I would highly recommend this school.

St. Mary of the Assumption is a superb school - students are well prepared for exam schools and other outstanding Catholic and private high schools. Strong leadership- experienced faculty- technology across the curriculum. Strongest school in the archdiocese. Check it out!

Excellent school! I have two children who attend St Mary`s and we have loved it. Wonderful teachers and superb principal. Dr Kirk is fantastic. We are lucky to have her.
