St. John School Photo #2 - The after-school program offers two programs. Regular after-school features games, crafts, outdoor play and an opportunity to complete homework. After-school elective courses are also offered in a trimester format for fall, winter and spring sessions. Elective course rotate each session, but course have included cooking, Lego Club, Latin & Greek, ISEE testing prep, Puddlestompers Animal Exploration, Sports Club &Entrepreneurial Club.
St. John School Photo #3 - Kindergarten literacy includes Wilson's Foundations Program for letter/sound association and letter formations. Guided Reading where children read at individual levels with centers-based activities for phonemic awareness are offered daily. Foreign language spanish instruction begins in kindergarten.
St. John School Photo #4 - Saint John School offers an education rooted in the Catholic faith, while welcoming students from any faith. Our early childhood program begins in pre-school for children age 3 and extends through our upper-grade students in grade 6.
St. John School Photo #5 - The after-school program features a wide range of activities, clubs, sports and enrichment courses. Enrichment classes are offered on a trimester session basis fall-winter and spring. Sports Club and Drama Club are joined by academic focused courses including Latin or Mandarin, STEM related courses as well as Lego Robotics.
St. John School Photo #6 - Saint John School has access to Warren Recreation fields and gymnasium for after-school sports club and upper-grade gym classes. Their facilities offer rock climbing walls, basketball court and soccer fields.
St. John School Photo #7 - Directed by our STEM specialist and dedicated science lab offers students the hands-on experience of scientific discovery. Using the scientific method outline students in upper-grades prepare a group or individual science experiment presentation to be shared with younger students and the parent community each spring. Saint John School participates in the Wellesley Science Expo sponsored by WEF.
St. John School Photo #8 - The Saint John School early childhood program is unique in that our youngest learners experience changing classes learning from specialist teachers for art, music and gym in addition to their regular classroom teachers. Pre-school and pre-kindergarten students come together with the entire school community several times throughout the year for concerts and events and attend all monthly Assemblies.
St. John School Photo #9 - All students perform in the Christmas Concert, an annual traditional event. All families, faculty and friends are invited for a delightful holiday celebration. First grade students reenact the First Christmas and the birth of Jesus. Upper-grade students and the student chorus lead younger students in this community wide event.

As educators, we are devoted to the intellectual, physical, emotional, social and spiritual growth of each of our students.
