My daughter attended St. Barnabas Episcopal School 30 years ago. This is the greatest school to give your child a head start. The curriculum is great. The teachers are great, and the administration is great. To this day she would rather read than watch television. From the teacher's dedication, they inspired my daughter to graduate from college in Physics. It was a blessing for my daughter to have had the opportunity to attend your school. Thank you, St. Barnabas!

This is our 2nd year with St. Barnabas and I can not express enough just how comfortable and welcomed we feel. The education both my children receive is amazing! Everything is so well coordinated, every little detail is addressed. Both children have became more confident with themselves since being a part of St Barnabas! The staff is truly beyond amazing it's not just a school it's THE school to be part of! We belong not just to any educational institute but to a community who makes you feel like family

We are new to SBES, and so far this year my son has come home everyday excited about something new to share with me. I am pleased with the variety of Special Area subjects available to the students and with the curriculum. The field trips and hands-on experiences and events at school help give students a well-rounded experience. I appreciate how involved the staff is with the parents and with being responsive and informative to my questions as a new parent at the school. The school is a beautiful and nurturing environment.

Our son started SBES this year after attending the public school system which was ok but really lacked communication between us and the school among other things. Since attending SBES we've received much more than great communication! Our son has thrived in the smaller, less overwhelming atmosphere. The teachers and staff work well together to bring the best school experience to the kids and promote a much more cohesive student body.

St Barnabas has been a wonderful experience for our family for over 12 years. When my son graduated he was so prepared for High school and already having good habits for college. The environment is healthy for learning and setting kids up to succeed. The teachers and administrators care about each student and always seek out tools and methods to stay current with private schools in much larger cities. There is a special bond alumni have with the school and their classmates that for most will last a lifetime. Definitely give St B a five out of five!

St. Barnabas has been a blessing for my son. He has attended for middle school because of extensive bullying in public schools. He had almost totally shut down. After a few months at St. Barnabas, I had my son back. The staff embraces every child and teaches them how being different makes you amazing. The academics are challenging and the teachers work hard to help the students learn good study skills. You will not be disapointed.

St. Barnabas is a great school. This is our sons 3rd year at this school, currently in 1st grade. The Principal, Teachers and Administration really care about the students. The education the kids get is amazing and accelerated. It is a well rounded environment, the school is huge on safety and security and it is in a well placed location near Downtown DeLand. Great sense of community between school and families. We Love the school and are very fortunate that our son gets to attend this school. Highly recommend this school!!!

SBES has truly been one of the best decisions we have made not just for our children, but for our family. We found an incredibly loving community that offers support and challenges to our daughters. My only regret is that we didn't find SBES sooner - we have been here for 3 years.

Our daughter has attended St. Barnabas Episcopal School in DeLand, Florida, from Kindergarten to 8th Grade and will graduate in less than two weeks. We are so very proud of her many accomplishments and have shared numerous wonderful memories through the years. Every single St. B. teacher she has had, and learned from, has been caring, hardworking and has put great effort into seeing that she and all of her classmates obtain the very best from the education you have paid for to ensure they reach their full potential. Because of her elementary and middle school education at St. Barnabas, we feel confident that she has a firm well-rounded foundation that will carry her through any high school and onto the college of her choice.

St. Barnabas has been an amazing place to work. In the number of years that I''ve been here, I''ve loved the opportunity to work with students from varying backgrounds. I love the ability to work outside the box with my students. There aren't many schools where you have the freedom to build bridges in science class, act out Shakespeare with the Orlando Shakespeare Company and work with teachers who truly devote their lives to their students. I love that our school is family oriented enough for students to not become a number, as they do in many other schools, but to truly be a family. I would highly recommend same morning this is a place to work and as a community to raise and educate your children.

I am not a parent, but I am a grandparent of two wonderful grandsons who attend St. Barnabas. They have been so happy attending the school and as a retired classroom teacher myself, I can see that they are learning spiritually, academically, and physically everyday. They love learning and that is due to the teachers and administrators of St. Barnabas.

Our family has been blessed with wonderful, encouraging teachers in this Christian school environment. The staff and administration is available to discuss any concerns in a respectable manner. I am so excited to see my 2nd grader grown and develop as a spiritual person in this positive environment .... I would not have it any other way!

This was our first year, it was amazing! I''m so happy that we made the switch to St.B. Not only do I feel my daughter is excelling academicly, but as a person as well. I have noticed a change in her mannerisms and all around attitude since she has started at this school. I was nervous at first because the school is smaller than I was used to and everyone seemed so close. This was not a problem at all. Every parent, teacher and administrator have been so kind and loving. I feel at home at the school and so does my daughter. Her teacher this year (Mrs. Newbold) is absolutely amazing. She takes the time to understand each child and she appreciates their differences instead of trying to force them to be a certain way. Even telling my daughter and other children, that she "loves" them. I personally believe it is so important for kids to know they are loved all around and St. B does this for my daughter. Oh- forgot to mention all the sports that the kids have the opertunity to play!! St. Barnabas has kept us very active and busy this year!

SBES has been an answer to prayer for our family. My child is being taught above her years and feels challenged enough to feel a sense of confidence when she gets questions right and able to laugh at herself when she's wrong. The teachers leave an impact on their hearts.
