Southwest Georgia Academy is a college preparatory school that serves students from seven counties in grades K4 through 12th.
The philosophy of SGA is to provide an atmosphere in which the child may develop, through varied experiences, to his fullest potential so that he may more easily find his place in the world in which he lives.
We attain this atmosphere by providing a pleasant working environment with well-trained personnel, and planned, meaningful activities.
We believe in having a wide curriculum which will be appropriate for any person, whether he enters college or the world of work; making available extra curricular activities to help develop leadership and fellowship activities; promoting high moral, ethical, and spiritual values and emphasizing loyalty and patriotism; encourage a winning spirit and good sportsmanship in a variety of school related activities.
