I started attending Southlands during my junior year, and I fell in love with the school. It's not a perfect school, but it sure seems to be the best one in SoCal. The teachers genuinely cared about me, and I no longer felt like an outsider. I felt loved and wanted by the staff, and that was different from the public school I came from. My sister now attends Southlands and I have seen her blossom as well. She went from being shy/timid to someone who is outspoken and confident. She is in ASB and continues to surprise me. Seeing my own sister transform before my eyes made me realize that this school is genuinely here to build up leaders. In closing, this school is amazing and has blessed my family.

My children attended this school for just one Spring semester in elementary while my wife we get medical treatment. They loved it, and I was impressed by the academic excellence, quality of administration, and Christlike priorities and values and kindness of all the administration, teachers, and supporting staff I met. Years later, my wife and I decided to move to California so they could attend and graduate from this school. They were quickly welcomed by all their old friends, made new friends, and continue to love Southlands and thrive in academics and extracurriculars to this day.
