Notes for Prospective Students

Age Requirements: Pre-Kinder 3 and 4 years of age by September 1st Kindergarten 5 years of age by September 1st 1st Grade6 years of age by September 1st Application Process: STCA Application Previous school most recent report card, letter of reference from principal or teacher, and any special education or behavioral evaluations. Immunization Record: showing the student is up to date. Students will not be admitted to classes until the vaccine record is submitted-a copy of their birth certificate or U.S Passport and social security number. International students need to take a Mathematics and English proficiency test. Foreign Students must apply for a SEVIS (form I-20) to enroll at STCA. A current visa/passport is required. Mid-Year Enrollment: Students are discouraged from registering during the school year. Exceptions are made for people transferring into the area. The admissions committee may allow students to move to STCA during the semester break. Grade Placement: STCA reserves the right to determine student grade placement based on the evaluation and testing of the student.
