Notes for Prospective Students

To benefit from SciCore's academic programs, incoming students should meet certain minimal achievement standards in mathematics, English composition, and English comprehension. Consequently, all student candidates must pass a written examination prepared by the academy prior to admission. In borderline cases, deficiencies may be remedied in a summer program held at SciCore Academy. Equally important to the admissions process is a formal interview with prospective students and their parents. This interview is a chance for students, parents, and the admissions counselor to explore expectations on both sides. It is important for students and parents to understand SciCore's commitment to strong academic standards in a positive learning environment.
