Our son came as a 6th grader to Saint Lucas, a school of nearly 200, from a two-room rural school of 24. It could have been culture shock, but he was welcomed with open arms by his school community - teachers, classmates, even his classmates' parents - and he blossomed into a passionate, interesting young man with wide-ranging interests, from history and writing to technology and photography. We attribute that to the unique gifts of the faculty and their encouragement to exercise his own gifts from God. Saint Lucas gave him more than a high-caliber education and open lens to the world, it gave him a second family.

We are very thankful for the Christ-centered education our children are experiencing at St. Lucas. The school has wonderful teachers and staff who help to foster an excellent learning environment for our kids. Actually, they feel more like family, and they care for our kids in that way, which helps them to feel excited to go to school and do the best job they can! We do have children who need additional help with reading. We felt supported by having a reading specialist on-site to work with our kids weekly. We also know that other students have needed additional help with math and they have resources at the school to give additional help to those students as well. They also have a Christian-based counselor on site to help with children`s anxiety or other concerns. In the upper grade levels, they also have a STEM lab and we have heard wonderful things about this as well. Overall, we have been incredibly happy with our experience and would highly recommend other families to attend St. Lucas!

When it came time to choose a school for our oldest, the options seemed endless and overwhelming. Upon a strong recommendation and personal account from a neighbor, we decided to enroll at Saint Lucas. We have not regretted our decision. We have two students in their Kindergarten and Primary grades with our third starting in another year. Saint Lucas provides our family with a rigorous education paired with small class sizes, a strong Christian environment, intentional social-emotional development, and caring teachers. All of this is balanced with a well-rounded sports and extracurricular program (think Spanish club, Lego club, etc., available also for students too young to actively participate in regular athletics). We are very pleased with how our children enjoy school and the environment. We highly recommend this program to other families!

We transferred our two children to Saint Lucas after disappointing academic progress at another private school during the COVID shutdown. The staff has been wonderful in helping our son catch up with his peers. He was able to drastically improve his reading and math skills over the past year. The teachers and staff are always helpful, enthusiastic, and caring. Our children are excited to get back to school after the weekends because they miss their classmates and teachers so much. The hardest part of school mornings is getting my kids to say "bye" to me as they run into the building. We are very pleased with our experience at Saint Lucas and wouldn`t hesitate to recommend the school to other families

Saint Lucas Lutheran School is an Amazing, Christ-Centered K3-8 Education Facility. I attended this school almost 25 years ago and now have my three sons enrolled full-time in 4th grade, 1st grade, and pre-school. I have nothing but praise for the administration of this school. My wife and I are grateful for the dedicated staff, teachers, and pastors that make up the Saint Lucas family as they are wholly professional, yet provide an inviting, comfortable, warm, and safe environment for all students. Core Test Scores at Saint Lucas are higher than most other area schools and the main goal of this establishment is to prepare children for high school and beyond. The graceful collaboration between the Church & School is evident each day in the smiles and structure shared by staff and students. Saint Lucas really is a superior school and I highly recommend any parents to bring their children to be a part of this family focused on Jesus each and every day!

We have 2 children who are students at St Lucas and have had very positive experiences with both of them. Preschool students are very flexible with the number of days per week and full vs half days, which is really great. The teachers and staff are very caring and responsive and we have had good communication with all of them. Even when teachers had concerns, we were approached about them in a respectful, collaborative manner and they were quickly resolved. Our children are receiving a quality education in a safe environment. They have both made some great friendships as well.

We found out about this school because of a friend who had all her children attend there and she raved about how wonderful it is. She was right! This school is the best! I have 2 kids in this school since K3. I was grateful to see they have a preschool for 3-year-olds. As a busy working mom, I needed extended hours and they have before and after-school care. The teachers and staff truly care about each child and they have many safety protocols. I feel very safe having my kids at this school. The principal and pastor are often outside helping guide the kids in and out at pick-up times, as well as much additional staff. The education is very hands-on with small class sizes and individual attention. They have an excellent STRK program too! This was one of the only schools open during the pandemic so the kids did not get too behind when many others fell behind. I was so grateful for that! I like the number of activities and extracurricular options as well as sports. Both of my kids found plenty of clubs to participate in. Christian education is also very important to us and is reflected in our children`s behavior in such a positive way both in and outside of school. I have gotten to know many families who attend Saint Lucas and all are very caring. It is more like a tight-knit community and we all are on the same page with what we hope for in our children`s futures and Saint Lucas constantly meets those expectations. I am so grateful to have my kids attend this school and this was one of the best life choices we ever made.

Imagine moving your child from a safe 2-room rural school of 24 to a city school of 240 in a trendy city neighborhood. Imagine being the 12-year-old who had to face it. But from Day 1 our son was embraced and supported by the faculty/staff and the boys in his new middle school. When he graduated from Saint Lucas he continued through Wisconsin Lutheran High School, maintaining his same close-knit group of Saint Lucas neighborhood friends. As a rhetoric major at UWEC, he interned for Tesla as a technical writer. Tesla! Today he is a technical writer for Rockwell Automation and still has a wide-ranging variety of interests in sciences, technology, literature, and the arts. Astoundingly, his circle of friends today is the same, most living once again in Bay View, even though they are now grown with solid careers and families of their own. His social circle is a testament to the character-building that took place at Saint Lucas, and his successful career is a testament to the stellar STEM, ELA, and arts education he received at Saint Lucas. We couldn't have asked for more for our son, and we feel so blessed that Saint Lucas was part of the foundation for the decent, loving, successful adult he is today. We cannot recommend Saint Lucas highly enough, not only for its award-winning STEM program but for the support and love Saint Lucas as a school family and community gives to the searching, sometimes hurting, children and families who walk through their doors.

This is a school that is like a second home, all of the staff, students, and their families are like an extension of my own family. They have strong academics, a curriculum to challenge the students, and a strong faith-based education. I am so happy to have my child be a part of the Saint Lucas family, he has made wonderful friends and feels very safe and comfortable at school. This means everything to me as a parent.

Saint Lucas has been an amazing school for our son. The teachers and staff are amazing - dedicated and caring. The curriculum is top-notch, including, STEM and PLTW for all grade levels, and the Christ-centered education he is receiving is the cherry on top.
