With an average annual enrollment of more than 650 students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, Sacred Heart is located on two campuses in historic downtown Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Beginning in prekindergarten, students experience a multi-sensory approach to learning, which builds a strong foundation of excellence in education. Teachers encourage cognitive, social, emotional, spiritual, and physical growth.With an average and intentional class size of 20 students, students learn the core subjects of language arts, science, math, social studies, and religion. Students participate in six activity classes throughout the week: art, music, physical education, library, foreign language, and computer. In prekindergarten through first grade, a certified faculty member and an additional teacher assistant teach all classes.

Sacred Heart's Mock Trial Team won the State Championshipfor the 14th consecutive year.Athletics: Competition continues with seventeen 2A athletic teams. Sacred Heart currently has 23 Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) State Championship titles: one in powerlifting, ten in tennis, two in 1A golf, four in 1A/2A/3A boys' soccer, and six in 1A/2A/3A girls' soccer. In addition, our school holds individual player championships in cross-country, golf, powerlifting, swim, tennis, and track.
