My son, a highly sensitve person, but also academically strong, was pummeled by the traditional school system. There was no real help for him, as he needed smaller class rooms, but was not falling behind in his studies to qualify for this service. Finding Sac Makers was an answered prayer and has given my son a place where he feel he belongs. What I love most about the teachers here is that they allow kids to be themselves, and they foster their strengths and creativity. The Hacker Lab's community (in which this school resides) is amazing, and I'm grateful for the exsistence of these people. Big love!

My son started at Makers School as a 7th grader, he will soon start 8th . He loves it! Everyday is a new experience for him, he looks forward to going. He is excited about the concepts presented, the teachers take interest and tailor each class to the student. They keep the class size small so that they can concentrate on each child needs.
